Taylor Swift stitches together one of her cosiest love songs yet on this stirring yet low-key track from her acclaimed 2020 LP folklore. "Cardigan," which was created with the album's producer, The National's Aaron Dessner, is written from the perspective of a fictional character called Betty and depicts the different phases of a relationship.
