“Hide in Your Shell” is a song recorded by the British progressive rock band Supertramp. Although singer/keyboardist Roger Hodgson had written bigger hits for the band including, “Dreamer,” “Take the Long Way Home,” and “The Logical Song,” this song which has been described as “an introvert’s anthem” is his most requested song. Written when he was 23, Hodgson says he was confused about life and feeling lonely both in life and within the band.
