"Something to Remind You" is the last single released by the American rock band Staind. The song is about mortality and is sung by vocalist Aaron Lewis. "The road is long Just one more song / A little something to remind you when I'm gone When I'm gone." The track benefits from a stark production of Lewis's expressive vocals over electric guitar. At the time of the recording there was unrest among the band members. Lewis performing gigs promoting his solo album Town Line didn’t go over well. By the end of the recording process, drummer Jon Wysocki quit the band. Lewis currently records country music but he sang "Something to Remind You" in concert as a tribute to Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington who died in July of 2017.
