There have been many memorable songs across the history of the Comedy Central cartoon series South Park. But none have been quite as memorable as “Kyle’s Mom’s a Bitch,” a song that first made an appearance on the show’s season one episode "Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo." The song was written by show co-creator Trey Parker, who also performs it in character as Eric Cartman. The song’s lyrics describe the many ways in which Kyle Broflovski’s mother Sheila is, according to Cartman, “a bitch.” The song also features in the South Park movie, South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut, with an extended version featuring singalongs from all around the world (with lines in Chinese, French, Dutch, and Swahili), as well as a big-band influenced outro. The film version is co-written by composer Marc Shaiman. A rap version by rapper Joe C, featuring Kid Rock, is included in the film’s soundtrack album. The soundtrack album peaked at Number 28 on the US Billboard 200, as well as Number 4 on the US Top Internet Albums chart.
