"Bye Bye Love" is a song written by the husband and wife songwriting team of Félice and Boudleaux Bryant. The song had been rejected by about 30 different artists before The Everly Brothers took it to the #1 spot in 1957. Just around that time, another young duo were finding their musical inspiration. Paul Simon remembers taking a bus to the local record shop with Art Garfunkel and buying "Bye Bye Love" by The Everly Brothers. It was a favorite song they included in their early shows when they were known as Tom & Jerry. Years later, Simon & Garfunkel included a live version of "Bye Bye Love" on their fifth and final studio album together, Bridge Over Troubled Water.
The backing track for "Bye Bye Love" is available with background vocals or as an instrumental on Karaoke Version.
