According to legend, this hair metal anthem from German hard rock heroes Scorpions was such a hit with amorous couples in France (where it shot to number one) that it sparked a baby boom. Irrespective of this, the track certainly left behind a lasting legacy and made its mark on the hard rock canon. Released in June 1984 as the second single from the band's ninth studio album, Love at First Sting, "Still Loving You" cracked the top 5 in several European countries, including Switzerland, Belgium, and the Netherlands, and features pained yet impassioned vocals from Klaus Meine as he belts out the chorus: "If we'd go again / All the way from the start / I would try to change / The things that killed our love." In 2000, the band recorded a revamped symphonic metal version of the song with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra for their 10-track collaborative album Moment of Glory, also re-shuffling a handful of other songs from their back catalogue.
