Serving as a follow-up to his second album, 2020’s Southern Symphony, “She Likes It” is a breezy, easy-going pop song about the shared moments of enjoyment in a romantic relationship. The creation of the song was actually aided by social media, with Russell Dickerson sharing an incomplete version of the song’s chorus on his TikTok account and asking someone to write a verse for it. Country singer-songwriter (and fellow rising star) Jake Scott took up the challenge, and soon the pair found themselves collaborating on the final version of the track.
