"Do You Love What You Feel" was written by keyboardist David "Hawk" Wolinski. Wolinski would later write one of the band's biggest hits "Ain't Nobody" "Do You Love What you Feel" became the band's fourth #1 on the R&B singles chart. The lead vocals are shared by Chaka Khan and guitarist Tony Maiden. At the time of the recording, Khan had begun having hits as a solo artist.
