"Somethin' Stupid" was recorded for Robbie Williams's 2001 swing cover album Swing When You're Winning and later included on his 2003 EP of the same name. The track was originally written by C. Carson Parks and originally recorded in 1966 by the songwriter and his wife Gaile Foote, as the duo Carson and Gaile. The following year, Frank Sinatra and his daughter Nancy Sinatra took on the song and scored an international hit, striking number one on both the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and the UK singles chart.
