US country-pop trio Restless Road made their Sony Music Nashville debut with their self-titled EP in February 2020 and released a smattering of singles in its wake before taking a sophisticated turn with 2022 single "Growing Old with You", on which they paint a picture of domestic bliss. "What you say we put us down some roots? / Find a house up on the hill / And travel 'round the world / Put some pictures on the shelf / Hold you close and keep the faith / Raise some kids with our last name / Well come on baby what you say we do? / I feel like growing old with you / I’m growing old with you", sing the Nashville group who formed on The X Factor in 2013. The three-piece later upped the romance further on their gently stirring strings ballad, releasing what they called the "First Dance Version" of "Growing Old with You", which they also performed live on ABC’s The Bachelor in January 2022.
