"I Won't Let Go" is a sentimental ballad by American country music group Rascal Flatts. It was released on January 10, 2011, as the second single from the band's seventh studio album, Nothing Like This. Written by Jason Sellers and Steve Robson, who had penned the group's 2005 chart-topping hit "What Hurts the Most," "I Won't Let Go" showcases the group's trademark vocal harmonies and their infectious blend of country, pop, and soft-rock elements. Lyrically speaking, the song's theme revolves around the importance of having the support of loved ones and friends during times of adversity. Shortly after its commercial release, "I Won't Let Go" reached Number 2 on the US Hot Country Songs chart and peaked at Number 31 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Nothing Like This, its parent album, was even more successful, hitting the top of the US Top Country Albums chart and even entering the Top 10 of the Billboard 200. In July 2011, the album received Platinum certification by the RIAA.

It's not bad, but it could certainly be better. They need a new vocalist too.
