Alaska natives Portugal. The Man may have been indie darlings since their debut in the early aughts, but it wasn't until 2017 that the band finally achieve mainstream commercial success with the single "Feel It Still." Included in their eighth studio album Woodstock, the track went on to top six of the major airplay charts: Radio Songs, Pop Songs, Adult Pop Songs, Alternative Songs, Adult Alternative Songs, and Dance/Mix Show Airplay. It also reached Number 1 in Mexico and Russia and entered the Top 10 in 18 countries including Australia, Belgium, Canada, and France. Written by the band with the help of producers John Hill and Electric Guest's Asa Taccone, "Feel It Still" is driven forward by a simple yet muscular bassline and features a sample from the Marvelettes' 1961 hit "Please Mr. Postman." Apart from its stellar chart performance, the track earned the band a Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance in 2018.
