Talk Dirty To Me is one of the most emblematic songs of the 1980s glam-metal genre. From its winking subject matter to its brash and energetic sound, there are few songs that capture the spirit of the genre as well as it does. Originally released as part of the band’s 1986 album Look What the Cat Dragged In, it was later released as the album’s second single, following Cry Tough.” The band shares songwriting credits for the song, which was recorded by producer Ric Browde. Talk Dirty To Me quickly eclipsed Cry Tough commercially, peaking at Number 9 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and becoming Poison’s first Top 40 hit in the United States. In 2017, Billboard Magazine ranked Talk Dirty To Me as the very best Poison song, and its accompanying music video was ranked as Number 7 on Classic Rock magazine’s list of Top 10 Best Hair Metal Videos. In 2011, it was the subject of a lawsuit by the band Kid Rocker, who accused Poison of plagiarism.

Sounds much better than the version from The Karaoke Channel!
