An undisputed highlight from Pink Floyd's sixth studio album, Meddle (1971) "Fearless" merges sport and music to incorporate field recordings of Liverpool F.C. fans chanting and singing their club anthem "You'll Never Walk Alone" (by Gerry & the Pacemakers) which blend seamlessly into Roger Waters' acoustic guitar, David Gilmour's electric guitar strumming, Richard Wright's piano-playing and Nick Masons's drumming and tambourine-playing – and provide the song's memorable ending. With lyrics written by Roger Waters and vocals provided by David Gilmour, "Fearless" embodies its title to deliver a song about confronting and overcoming fear ("Fearlessly the idiot faced the crowd / Smiling / Merciless the magistrate turns ’round / Frowning / And who’s the fool who wears the crown?"). The song was never released as a single in the UK but as the B-side of 1971's "One of These Days" and played live by Roger Waters on a few occasions in 2016.

A bit too much background vocal, but good otherwise.
