"Little Jack Frost Get Lost" is a holiday song written by composers Seger Ellis and Al Stillman in 1947. The first recorded version of the track was by Seger Ellis himself, with additional instrumentation by his backing band, the Dixie Dons and Orchestra. It was further popularized by singer Bing Crosby, who performed it as a duet with Peggy Lee in 1952. The instrumental track for Bing Crosby's version was provided by the John Scott Trotter Orchestra. In more recent years, "Little Jack Frost Get Lost" was covered by a whole host of artists, including Bill McKinley and Jay Leonhart, Emilie-Claire Barlow, and Mary Ellen Desmond. In 2014, Seth MacFarlane, best known as the creator of the animated hit series Family Guy, offered a silky-smooth rendition of the song featuring jazz singer Norah Jones. The track was included in Seth MacFarlane's first Christmas-themed album Holiday for Swing (2014), which reached Number 8 on Billboard's Top Holiday Albums chart.
