Despite only crawling its way to number 77 on the Billboard 200 album chart, Too Fast for Love was certified platinum and generally praised for its raw rock energy. In 1999, Mötley Crüe remastered and reissued the album on their own Motley/Beyond label boosed with four bonus tracks: three previously unreleased songs and a slightly new iteration of the title track.
