However, shortly after the release of Dangerous, Morgan Wallen was forced to take a career break when he was filmed using a racial slur outside his home in Tennessee. He was subsequently removed from a number of radio stations and media platforms, as well as being uninvited to the Billboard Music Awards, despite having six nominations. Morgan Wallen later issued an apology online.
