E - Matt Mason - MP3 instrumental karaoke

After finishing in fourth place in the reality music show Nashville Star and winning the country music competition CMT's Next Superstar in 2011, Indiana-born, Nashville-based singer-songwriter Matt Mason went on to have a prolific career as a celebrated country singer. First included in his 2013 EP Chasing Stardust, the track "E" describes a high-speed chase after a man finds his wife in bed with her lover. The song's title makes reference to an empty gas tank. Featuring all of the classic elements of Nashville country music, "E" was written during a retreat with singer-songwriter Kyle Jacobs. Though it was initially deemed too dark to be released, the track's demo version made its way to 2013's Chasing Stardust. It was later featured on Mason's live maxi-single Shake Studio Series 12-6-2017 and on the compilation The Writers Collection Volume One, eventually becoming a favorite among Mason's fanbase.
