"Some Like It Hot" is a song from the 1959 film of the same name. It was recorded by Marilyn Monroe who also starred in the film. The film was produced without the approval of the Motion Picture Production Code because the plot involved two male musicians (Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon) cross dressing to join an all-girl band to escape the mob. Monroe plays Sugar, the ukulele playing singer who fronts the band. Her sexy, breathy vocal style is a perfect fit for the song which starts with "I got a fever / An inflammation / That's what I got / You turn the heat on me / Some like it hot." She recorded four other songs for the soundtrack including "I Wanna Be Loved by You".  The backing track for "Some Like It Hot" is available as an instrumental on Karaoke Version.
