"Tequila Talkin'" is a breezy summer song by Kameron Marlowe. The North Carolina native wrote the song with Ray Fulcher and Dan Isbell and calls it one of his favorites. Although sung from the perspective of someone who's had a few, he tries to convince a potential date that what he's feeling is more than just the tequila. "There's just something 'bout how you're looking now breaking down all my walls / Got me buzzing on something stronger than alcohol." In 2018, Marlowe went from selling auto parts to singing on season 15 of The Voice.Although he didn't win, he was able to quit his job and move to Nashville. He was signed to Columbia Nashville in 2020.
