Josh Groban recorded “Angels” for his 2020 album Harmony. The album contains ten classic covers from show tunes to this song which was a huge hit for British singer Robbie Williams in 1997. “Angels” was voted best song of the previous 25 years at the 2005 Brit Awards. The song describes looking for angels for guidance. In an online post, Groban explained, “We’re all searching for meaning and hope right now whether we find it looking up or to the people next to us.” He also thanked Williams for this “absolute banger” of a song. Several backing tracks for “Angels” are available with background vocals or as an instrumental on Karaoke Version.
