There's a reason this comforting eatery is a prime source of creative inspiration. "Waffle House" arrived in 2023 as part of the group's sixth studio album The Album and was released as its second single. According to the brotherly trio, the groove-laden "Waffle House" celebrates comfort and the coming together of family, inspired by that perfect diner spot everyone has and the group's memories of convening at "Waffle House" after live shows. The song was written by songwriters-producers Jon Bellion, Pete Nappi, Ido Zmishlany, Daniel Tashian, Tenroc, Algae, and Johnny Simpon and featured as the seventh track on the group's yacht rock-evoking sixth studio offering. The Album followed The Jonas Brothers' comeback album of 2019, Happiness Begins, which marked their first new LP in a decade following their dissolution six years prior.
