Formed around a strummy acoustic guitar "I Saw It on T.V."—featured on the former Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman's third solo album Centerfield (1985)—captures the way the box has captured our collective experience of experiencing the world. The album was something of a comeback statement for John Fogerty who had retreated from music over eight years earlier before re-emerging in the 1980s. Centerfield marked John Fogerty's first LP in nine years and gave him a number one victory on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart as well as charting in the UK Top 50.
