Jethro Tull penned a tongue-in-cheek hymn for Jesus that takes aim at the US and the hypocrisy and myth-making of religion and entertainment. "Oh Father high in heaven / Smile down upon your son, hey-hey / Who's busy with his money games, oh! / His women and his gun / Oh Jesus save me!," yodels Jethro Tull lead vocalist Ian Anderson, who mocks Hollywood's glorification of violence ("And the unsung Western hero / Killed an Indian or three, hey hey hey / And then he made his name in Hollywood, oh! / To set the white man free / And then he made his name in Hollywood, oh! / To set the white man free / Oh Jesus save me!"). "Hymn 43" - which charted on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 91 – sits on the bluesy genre-twisting band's 1971 prog rock LP Aqualung, which explored themes relating to organized religion, and became their best-selling album, shifting more than seven million units worldwide.

Sounds pretty perfect to me. I've been listening to the original track for over 50 years now. Didn't expect to see this backing track get produced! Thanks very much!
