"Zero to Hero" is a song from the soundtrack of the 1997 Disney animated movie Hercules. Just like the rest of the songs featured in both the film and the soundtrack, it was written by composers Alan Menken and David Zippel. It features vocal performances by cast members Lillias White, LaChanze, Roz Ryan, Cheryl Freeman, and Vanéese Y. Thomas. During the film, "Zero to Hero" is played right after Hercules' victory over the Hydra, and is sung by the Muses, who praise his courage as well as his physical looks. A shorter version of the track with slightly modified lyrics was used as the theme song to the animated series of the same name that premiered on Disney's One Saturday Morning cartoon block in 1998. It was also included in the Disney Sing-Along Songs series in the videos Disney Sing-Along Songs: Honor to Us All and Disney Sing-Along Songs: Collection of All-Time Favorites: The Modern Classics.

Keeps good energy in the peice, not the exact same as in the movie, but similar enough. A little more organ, not as much saxophone.
