This 1981 Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons medley packs a whole universe of crowd-pleasing hits into just under five minutes of music. Kicking off chronologically with "Sherry"—the group's first official US single outing and first national number-one hit in 1962, which in 2023 was selected for preservation in the United States National Recording Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant"—the melange soon segues into another of the acclaimed group's chart-toppers, 1963's "Walk like a Man," an eye-watering celebration of Frankie Valli's world-famous falsetto. Elsewhere, the medley—which appeared on The Four Seasons' 1981 Reunited Live album for Warner Bros—makes a stop at 1962's doo wop bop "Big Girls Don't Cry" before closing the shutters with 1965's "Bye Bye Baby (Baby Goodbye)." All tracks were written by Bob Crewe and Bob Gaudio.
