Written by famed and prolific Brooklyn-born music composer Harry Warren and Al Dubin, and published in 1937, "September in the Rain" is a jazzy reflection on nostalgia from one the greatest artists of all-time. "To every word of love I heard you whisper / The raindrops seemed to play our sweet refrain / Though spring is here to me it's still September / That September in the rain," he sings.
