Medicine at Midnight - Foo Fighters - MP3 instrumental karaoke

After taking a brief hiatus following an extensive tour promoting 2017's Concrete and Gold, the Foo Fighters headed back into the studio in 2019 to start working on a follow-up album. Produced by Greg Kurstin, whose resume includes work with Sia, Beck, and Paul McCartney, the LP was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic but was finally released in February 2021. The result of those recording sessions, the dance rock-influenced Medicine at Midnight, sounded nothing like the Foo Fighters had done before. The album represented a refreshing departure from their usual arena rock bangers and nowhere is this more evident than in Medicine at Midnight's title track. Written by Dave Grohl with contributions from the rest of the band, "Medicine at Midnight" melds the band's knack for larger-than-life, anthemic choruses with a David Bowie circa Let's Dance aesthetic. In contrast with the upbeat nature of the song, the lyrics have been rumoured to address substance abuse.
