Upcycling a tried-and-tested '90s Eurodance smash, David Guetta scored his own Billboard Hot 100 hit in August 2022 with his refit of Eiffel 65's "Blue (Da Ba Dee)." Teaming up with singer Bebe Rexha, this trancey dancefloor gem – complete with gravity-defying drop and dreamy piano chords – sees the French dance superstar sample the 1998 track and interpolate its infamous chorus ("I'm blue, da ba dee da ba di") but swapping the lyrics for "I'm good, yeah, I'm feelin' alright / Baby, I'ma have the best fuckin' night of my life" instead. "I'm Good (Blue)" – which went to number one in fifteen countries, including Australia, Canada, Switzerland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway, Finland, Sweden, and the UK (also giving David Guetta his first US chart-topper in five years) – credits the original Eiffel 65 members Jeffrey Jey and Maurizio Lobina, as well as the original track's co-producer Massimo Gabutti.
