"SWLABR" (an initialism for "She Was Like a Bearded Rainbow") is a song by English rock band Cream, included in their magnum opus Disraeli Gears (1967). It was later released as a B-side to Cream's first and only US hit "Sunshine of Your Love" in 1967. The track's nonsensical, stream-of-consciousness lyrics were written by poet Pete Brown, who worked closely with the band during the late 1960s, while the music was composed by bass player and singer Jack Bruce. It is one of the two songs in Cream's catalog whose title consisted only of initials (the other one being "N.S.U."). Despite not having entered any official charts, the song has always been present in the band's setlists; in fact, a live version of "SWLABR" was featured on the album BBC Sessions and the deluxe edition of Disraeli Gears, which also contained a four-minute demo version. In the following years, the track appeared on the compilations Best of Cream, Those Were the Days, and Gold.

1st, I'm really glad KV put the Cream version out. Only other version I've ever been able to find is and Eric Clapton version, and it's just to hard edged for a lot of audiences, especially because it seems like only Cream afficionados know the song. Having said that, I think the lead guitar is a little heavy by just a skooch in this mix. I'm still glad to get it, though!
