"Streets on fire / The mob goes wild" loudly proclaim Clutch on their riotous 2004 takedown of the Iraq War, employing evocative imagery to voice their utter disgust; "Give disease so the swine will marry and propagate lies / Tough luck for elected officials / The beast you see got fifty eyes / Bring it on home, spread the wealth / Play it cool, the hand’s been dealt / Now all the odds are in our favor / Save the victory speeches for later," they roar, taking a jab at politicians left right and centre on "The Mob Goes Wild". The track, which was featured on the Maryland band's sixth studio album Blast Tyrant (2004) – or Blast Tyrant Atlas of the Invisible World with Illustrations of Strange Beasts and Phantoms, to give it its unabridged title – was accompanied by a vivid video that showed a fight in a bar while Clutch play the song behind a chicken-wire fence, in the style of The Blues Brothers.
