"Maybe This Time" from the musical Cabaret, introduced in the 1972 film adaptation, is one of the show's most iconic numbers. A skycraping ballad sung by the character Sally Bowles, played by Liza Minnelli, the song captures Sally Bowles's deep yearning for love and success after a series of disappointments. Composed by John Kander with lyrics by Fred Ebb, "Maybe This Time" was a standout addition to the film, not present in the original 1966 stage production. The song's powerful, soulful melody and heartfelt lyrics express a universal hope for a better future, conveying a blend of vulnerability and determination. Liza Minnelli's unforgettable performance, marked by her towering delivery and unrivalled voice, helped propel the song to classic status. "Maybe This Time" has since become a beloved standard, covered by numerous artists and featured in various productions and performances.

Agree with other comments, but the version offerred here is in in A B♭, not G A♭. Which is a shame because I want it in F, and you can only lower 2 semitones. (Which, technically, is probably a good idea.) The Sinatra version is correctly stated in as B♭ B. The Glee version is sort of correct but slightly sharp.
