Before the world met Bruno Mars the recording artist, he was in the background, producing and writing for other artists. He started gaining recognition when he was featured on "Nothin' on You" by B.o.B and "Billionaire" by Travie McCoy. When he finally decided to focus his talents on his own music project, "Talking to the Moon" was the first song he wrote. The song was released on a four-song digital EP in 2010. Unfortunately, the EP only got to 99 on the Hot 200 for one week. But the song got a second chance when Mars included it on his debut album Doo-Wops & Hooligans. "Talking to the Moon" is a beautiful piano ballad about missing someone you love. "Talking to the Moon / Trying to get to you / In hopes you're on the other side / Talking to me too."
