In 2011, bearded indie-folk woodsman Bon Iver aka Justin Vernon (and band) put his stamp on Bonnie Raitt's heart-wrenching tear-jerker as the B-side to "Calgary," which was the atmospheric first single from Bon Iver's self-titled sophomore album. For his interpretation of "I Can't Make You Love Me," Justin Vernon brought his unique falsetto voice into the picture, transforming the song entirely while keeping the lyrics intact. That same year, Adele also offered her take on the track for her first live album, Live at the Royal Albert Hall while Boyz II Men took their turn at the "I Can't Make You Love Me" wheel back in 2009 for their third cover album, aptly titled Love.
