"Carefully" is a song by American singer-songwriter and actor Ben Platt, best known for his roles on the musicals The Book of Mormon and Dear Evan Hansen. After making his solo debut with the album Sing to Me Instead (2019), which reached Number 18 on the Billboard 200, Ben Platt legitimized his status as a bona fide pop artist in 2021 with his second studio effort Reverie. More somber in nature than his studio debut, the album spawned the singles "Imagine" and "Happy to Be Sad," entering the Top 10 on the Official UK Digital Albums chart.
