"Gone, Gone, Gone" is a song recorded by the English rock band Bad Company for their fifth studio album Desolation Angels. It was written by the band's bassist Boz Burrell and sung by Paul Rogers. The band was a supergroup made up of members of Free, Mott the Hoople, and King Crimson, and was the first act signed to Led Zeppelin's new label Swan Song. The band topped the charts with several hook-heavy radio hits including "Feel Like Making Love" and "Rock 'n Roll Fantasy". On "Gone, Gone, Gone" Rogers puts a plan into action after being dumped. "It ain't the first time baby / Baby it won't be the last / I'd better get the boys round / And do some drinkin' fast."
