Out in November 2021 as the lead single from Love Sux – released through Elektra Records and marking Avril Lavigne's debut on Travis Barker's label DTA Records – on "Bite Me," the "Sk8er Boi hitmaker snaps back from the hurt of a former relationship. "Eh-oh, you should've known better, better to fuck with someone like me," she declares, while appearing in the track's music video accompanied by Travis Barker.
