He also produced both songs which share a sparse piano arrangement, showcasing Adele's soaring vocals. Lyrically, "Easy on Me" is a raw look into the break-up of a marriage. She told Vogue she recorded the music on 30 to help explain the divorce to their now seven-year-old son Angelo someday.
