"Just a Notion" is a song by the Swedish pop group ABBA. This is their third single from Voyage, an album released 40 years after their last recording. The uptempo track combines a bit of the old with the new. It was originally recorded in 1978, a time when the airwaves were filled with their infectious pop hits which included "Waterloo," "Knowing Me, Knowing You," "Mamma Mia," and "Dancin Queen." Band member Björn Ulvaeus says he doesn't remember why they never released "Just a Notion." He always liked the song, especially the vocals, so for Voyage they used the original vocals but built a new track around them. On social media, Ulvaeus posted “Just a Notion is a ridiculously happy song and hopefully it will cheer you up in these dark times!"
