The film is director Bradley Cooper’s reimagined version of a classic 1937 film, which in turn spawned two musicals by the same name in the 50s and 70s. The film was a huge success and, consequently, so was its accompanying soundtrack, performed by artists such as stars Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga. “Is That Alright?” is one of the songs from the soundtrack, performed by Lady Gaga as her character Ally singing about the love and devotion she feels towards her husband. The song was co-written and co-produced by Lady Gaga along with Mark Nilan Jr., Nick Monson, and Paul "DJWS" Blair, with songwriting contributions by Lukas Nelson and Aaron Raitiere.
