"Angry" is the swaggering opening gambit of Hackney Diamonds; The Rolling Stones' 24th album and second LP of original material since 2005, widely hailed as a triumphant return to form. To kick things off, the legendary rock 'n' rollers launch a tirade of sneering vocals and garage-rock riffage that sounds undeniably like The Rolling Stones. The accompanying video matches the song's energetic, high-powered sound with actor of the moment Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria, The White Lotus) being driven through LA in a red sports car while The Rolling Stones pop up on giant billboards to serenade her. "Angry" also made it onto the soundtrack for videogame EA Sports FC 24. Hackney Diamonds was the band's first album following the death of drummer Charlie Watts and featured a star-studded list of co-conspirators, with the likes of Lady Gaga, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, and Elton John all making appearances.
