Written in 1996, "Jamaica Mistaica" sees him shift away from the Hawaiian shirts and tequila cocktails of his usually sunny delights to narrate a darker real-life event that took place on 16 January 1996 when his seaplane, the Hemisphere Dancer, was shot at by Jamaican police who incorrectly suspected them of drug smuggling. Luckily, no one was injured during the incident.
