In "Drinkaby," multi-platinum country star Cole Swindell finds the answer to his broken heart inside the bar and at the bottom of the bottle—or five. "I got a song, I'm 'bout to sing it / She left a note, so I started drinkin'," he begins in this fiery country-rock breakup song. He soon amps things up in the chorus: "Bye, my baby's long gone / Sadder than a steel in a country song / Raise your glasses to the rafters and help me sing along tonight / To my drinkaby." Co-written with Hunter Phelps, Jon Pardi, Jordan Schmidt and Michael Hardy, "Drinkaby" appeared on the deluxe version of Cole Swindell's fourth studio album Stereotype—titled Stereotype Broken—which went to number 48 on the US Billboard 200 chart and to number six on Billboard's US Top Country Albums chart. The album followed Cole Swindell's third studio album All of It, which was released in 2018 and charted in the US Billboard 200 top ten.
