"Rock 'n' Roll Medley (Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen / Let's Twist Again / Great Balls Of Fire)" is a song by Irish country trio The Three Amigos. The group, known for their renditions of popular Irish tunes as well as pop music classics, consists of Irish singers Jimmy Buckley and Patrick Feeney, and American-born crooner Robert Mizzell. Following the success of their 2008 self-titled debut album and their second LP Radio Pictures (2011), The Three Amigos returned in 2015 with the essentials collection On the Road Again. Made up entirely of modern renditions of classic country songs by Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, and Faith Hill, among others, the album also featured the 'Rock 'n' Roll Medley,' which served as a heartfelt tribute to the early days of rock and roll. The medley intertwines bits of Neil Sedaka's "Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen," Chubby Checker's "Let's Twist Again," and Jerry Lee Lewis' "Great Balls of Fire," preserving the rebellious spirit of the original versions while imbuing them with The Three Amigos' clean-cut, polished sound.
