The Allman Brothers Band recorded a version of the blues classic "Trouble No More" for their eponymous debut album in 1969. Like a lot of traditional American roots music, blues songs often evolve as they’re passed down and shared among other musicians. "Trouble No More" was first recorded by Muddy Waters in 1955, but it's actually a variation of "Someday Baby Blues" recorded by Sleepy John Estes in 1933. The Allman Brothers' version is a full-tilt roadhouse blues filled with Duane Allman's slide guitar and his brother Gregg's soulful vocal. A live version of “Trouble No More” is also included on their Eat a Peach album.
