Giving a multitude of classic tunes a shiny new makeover, 2016 US computer-animated musical comedy film Sing brought together some of the world's biggest names – from Scarlett Johansson and Jennifer Hudson to Señor Coconut & his Orchestra – for a showstopping covers soundtrack, on which was also featured an original song by Stevie Wonder and Ariana Grande called "Faith," which was nominated for a Golden Globe. Having won a Golden Globe himself for his portrayal of Elton John in 2019 biographical musical fantasy drama and Oscar-winning film Rocketman, Taron Egerton stepped into the British star's shoes to re-create one of his biggest hits – "I'm Still Standing," which was written by Elton John and Bernie Taupin and featured on Elton John's Platinum-certified 1983 album Too Low for Zero. Also closing out Rocketman is a re-enactment of the original "I'm Still Standing," music video, and the resemblance is uncanny.
