Powerhouse R&B duo Silk Sonic – a poker-hot collaboration between Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak – first stepped out in 2021 with "Leave the Door Open", their lustrous, silky-smooth debut single that oozes sexuality. Suffused with sensual 1970s soul feeling and 1990s and 2000s R&B flavors, love song "Leave the Door Open" is a testament to the vocal prowess of each star, as well as showing off the pair's undisputed camaraderie. The song is the first single from a full-length project called An Evening With Silk Sonic, and was written by Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak, D’Mile and Brody Brown and produced by Bruno Mars and the award-winning D’Mile. In 2021, Silk Sonic performed the track at the Grammy Awards, complete with backup singers and set many hearts racing. For their first single, the celebrated duo didn't do too badly – "Leave the Door Opentopped Billboard Hot 100 chart at the time of its release.
