"The Game" is an entrance theme used by American professional wrestler Paul Michael Levesque, better known by his ring name Triple H. The wrestler explained that when he was transitioning into becoming a bad guy, he needed an updated song to fit his new persona. While trying to describe the gritty, raw sound he was looking for, Triple H kept bringing up Motörhead. Finally, WWE music producer/songwriter Jim Johnson suggested they actually contact the heavy metal superstars to see if they'd agree to record it. Motörhead was quickly on board, releasing the song as a bonus track on 2002's Hammered album. As far as the inspiration for the song's title, Triple H dubbed himself "The Game," explaining that he was not only on top of the wrestling game- he WAS the game!
