Born to Raise Hell is as song by Motörhead written by the band’s only constant member, bassist Ian “Lemmy” Kilmister. Although the song was released as the second single from their album Bastards, it was originally written for the 1994 film Airheads in which Lemmy made a cameo appearance. Lyrically, the song is a celebration of rock and roll hedonism. “Born to raise hell, born to raise hell / We know how to do it and we do it real well.” Lemmy fully embraced the rock star lifestyle. The documentary Motörhead: Live Fast, Die Old claimed Lemmy had slept with 2000 women although he estimated it was closer to 1200. He died a four days after turning 70 in 2015. At his request, his ashes were put into bullets and sent to his closest friends.
The backing track for Born to Raise Hell is available with background vocals or as an instrumental on Karaoke Version.
