The country superstar told Audacy that the song just felt right for the opening track on the album, saying she wanted listeners on board from the very first line. "Mirror, mirror on the saddle, hear my rhinestones rattle / Actin' up." Lambert wraps her bluesy voice around the twangy tune, playfully flexing her bad-girl persona, singing that she's "hotter than wasabi" and has a "heart on fire." Since 2019, her heart has been burning for NYPD officer Brendan McLoughlin. The two met when Miranda was performing on Good Morning America, and McLoughlin had been hired for security. They married three months later! The couple split their time between Nashville and New York, where Mcloughlin's young son resides. Lambert told USA Today that she's loving being a stepmother.
